The Gospel

"Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory, for ever and ever. Amen." Galatians 1:3-5

In a nutshell – this is the message of the Gospel – Christ died to rescue us from our sins and this sinful world according to God’s plan and for God’s glory. Take a couple of minutes to thank God and give Him the glory for this loving saving act by Jesus.

A few questions for you to consider:
What makes our age evil? What in your community is evil? How can you be a part of God’s plan to rescue everyone from this evil? How can you be a part of God’s plan to rescue people from within your own communities?

Something Steve said this Sunday when he was looking at this passage really struck me. "The Gospel is Trust." So often we try and argue or debate what we believe. But the bottom line is that the Gospel isn’t something that can be debated – it is something you must trust in…do you trust God?

God bless.
